Principal, Planning

Starting her career by pursuing a degree in architecture, Jessica quickly shifted her focus to urban planning after just one course on the subject, drawn to the broader scale and impact that comes with planning. Pursuing a dual master’s degree in urban planning and landscape architecture strengthened her ability to think across scales, from regional systems to the design of public spaces.

Drawn to the ways places, systems, and people intersect, Jessica found her calling in urban planning and landscape architecture, disciplines that shape not only physical spaces, but the experiences, connections, and systems that support everyday life. She brings together diverse perspectives, surfaces meaningful patterns, and helps clients translate complex challenges into clear, actionable strategies.

As Principal, Jessica aligns planning strategy with the firm's breadth of expertise, bridging planning, design, and implementation into a cohesive whole. She believes the most successful outcomes emerge when diverse perspectives are brought into genuine alignment, and she partners closely with clients, stakeholders, and communities to connect long-term vision with realistic pathways for growth, investment, and action.

For planning projects, this means grounding every engagement in data-informed insights, authentic community participation, and measurable implementation strategies that help organizations make informed decisions and track progress over time. Her work emphasizes thoughtful integration of emerging tools and analytical approaches that support more responsive planning, clearer communication, and stronger connections between vision, policy, and implementation.

Jessica's commitment to thoughtful growth extends beyond individual projects through active leadership in organizations focused on the future of cities, development, and the built environment. Outside the office, she explores New Mexico with her children, hiking, biking, and kayaking through landscapes that continue to deepen her appreciation for the public spaces and communities that make the region distinct.
