Benjamin Gardner
AIA, NCARB, LEED AP
Chief Executive Officer / Principal / Architect
Benjamin inherited his philosophy of craftmanship from his father, a builder, master woodworker, and sculptor. He believes that a project should be carefully finished in places both seen and unseen. As chief executive officer, he applies that same attention to detail to firmwide strategy and operations.
With a combined background in architecture and construction, Benjamin brings a robust understanding of the issues faced by our clients, partners, and communities. His mission is to give staff continuous opportunities for personal and professional growth. By exploring new ventures and bold ideas, he seeks to extend and expand the firm’s legacy.
Relationships are vital to the design business. Benjamin acts as a trusted resource for our collaborators and works to strengthen community bonds. He is most fulfilled by seeing employees succeed. His service on the boards of PACA, a professional association for aerospace contractors, and Albuquerque Regional Economic Alliance (AREA) gives him other avenues to help create opportunities for New Mexicans while deepening industry connections in our region. Benjamin is also proud to be a member of the New Mexico Amigos, the official goodwill ambassadors for the State of New Mexico.
Benjamin’s leadership is enriched by a long history of developing his family-owned properties. He is particularly proud of a Montessori preschool and elementary academy co-founded with his wife. When he’s not at the office, he enjoys woodworking and exploring New Mexico.
