Our K-12 education studio is passionate about designing spaces that support childhood education and development. We are your trusted partner and project manager for new builds, occupied renovations, and specialized learning environments like Career Technical Education classrooms. Our K-12 education architecture and design studio stewards on-time, on-budget projects: completing 80 schools on schedule in the past 10 years alone. What We Do
Specialized CTE classrooms
We start every project by understanding your curriculum and community – working with you to create learning environments that positively impact students’ futures. We work alongside user groups and in-house lab, science, and education design experts to create forward-thinking CTE spaces.
Spaces to learn, today and tomorrow
Building on 300+ successful PreK-12 school projects, we design safe, user-centric, modern learning environments. We leverage our perspective, strategic partnerships, and vast in-house expertise to act as your project manger during design, construction, and beyond.

As a multidisciplinary architecture and design firm, we leverage our internal specialty teams to reduce the number of firms you need to coordinate with.
Collaboration across our firm brings more value to every project. Our cross-studio collaboration brings specialized expertise to our CTE classroom designs. Our collaboration with the multifamily communities studio brings much-needed student and staff housing to rural school campuses.
K-12 Education Design Process
Our design process begins with understanding the needs of your district, students, and staff. Whether you’re considering a renovation or complete replacement, building a new school to accommodate more students or combining schools into one campus, we can help you find and attain the funding and community support you need to get the project off the ground.
With experience in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTEP), our team always keeps student safety and comfort in mind. In collaboration with our in-house interior design and landscape architecture teams, we design spaces that encourage creativity, curiosity, and learning. With an eye towards sustainability and energy efficiency, we choose systems that are easy to maintain.
We view schools as an extension of the community. Through design meetings and presentations, we ensure that the school district and community is engaged in the process.
