Carime Gonzalez

Carime started her career in 2000, building a strong foundation through roles in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and inventory management. After earning her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from UNM and obtaining her CPA certification, she expanded into broader accounting responsibilities. At Dekker, Carime has led our accounting team as Controller, Director of Accounting, and now Managing Director of Finance.

As Managing Director of Finance, Carime leads Dekker’s financial strategy, planning, and operational performance, ensuring the long-term financial health and sustainability of the firm. She helps studios and teams understand the story their numbers are telling, and feel more connected to their financial performance. As a leader, Carime is energized by mentoring others, solving problems, and improving processes. Her leadership contributes to strategic initiatives that support business growth and operational resilience, as well as helps shape and support the firm's long-term strategy.

Outside of work, Carime enjoys reading, staying active, and spending time with her family. Daily walks with her two dogs, Loki and Chase, remind her to slow down and appreciate the simple things in life that bring the most joy.
