Altitude at Vizcaya refreshes an existing complex and increases neighborhood appeal. It harmonizes modernity with local context to provide residents with luxury living.
The 52-unit multifamily project is the final phase of the existing Vizcaya apartment community, sitting on a 2.5-acre site in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Through 4, two-story buildings, the phase adds 36 one-bedroom and 16 two-bedroom units. Altitude at Vizcaya merges with the existing Vizcaya Apartments, sharing landscaping, internal roads, open space, and pedestrian walkways in addition to amenities like pools and a fitness center.
The design is modern and open. Clean lines and neutral colors create a simple but distinctive visual pattern. Each ground floor unit have a private patio; second story units have a sheltered entry space, private interior stairs, and a spacious balcony with beautiful views. Open floorplans, large windows that rise 9 feet, and 10-foot ceilings give each apartment an airy, light-filled feel.
Unit interiors includes quality finishes, thoughtful details, and efficient design. Floating laminate vinyl tile floors, quartz countertops, energy-efficient LED lighting, and tile backsplashes are used throughout. Kitchens feature a moveable stainless-steel island and Energy Star rated appliances; bathrooms include tile showers with semi-frameless shower doors. High performance natural gas instantaneous water heaters in every unit provide hydronic space heating and domestic hot water.
Landscaping meshes with local scenery and the existing apartments. Strategic placement of elements divert, slow, and retain water runoff throughout the west side of the property. Native trees and shrubs fill the exterior spaces, bringing greenery that is ideally suited to the southwest environment.
Altitude at Vizcaya sits just a few miles south of Santa Fe’s historic plaza—and nearby governmental and tourist districts. The market-rate community is situated along St. Francis Drive which takes residents north into the city, and near Interstate 25 for easy access to Albuquerque to the south.
