Dekker is honored to be designing the new Springer K–12 Combined School in partnership with Springer Municipal Schools and the New Mexico Public School Facilities Authority (PSFA). The new campus will replace several existing facilities on the current site and include five pre-manufactured teacher housing units. The design features new classrooms, science labs, special education spaces, and Career Technical Education (CTE) labs with dedicated auto, wood, and metal shops, along with a media center and multipurpose space. The existing gymnasium will be renovated to continue serving as a key facility for athletics and school events.

Rooted in the District’s educational philosophy, the design supports a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and lifelong learning. Flexible spaces are designed to adapt to evolving teaching methods and encourage active participation across all grade levels. Outdoor learning environments extend the classroom experience, connecting students to the natural setting and promoting hands-on, project-based exploration.
