How We Help Healthcare Clients Find Funding
At Dekker, we do what we can to help our clients achieve their development and building goals. That includes providing funding assistance for healthcare renovation and replacement projects.
From finding funding to technical application assistance to helping organizations with reporting requirements, we go above and beyond to make sure our clients can maximize their funds to modernize their healthcare spaces.
Finding funding for your next healthcare renovation or replacement

With decades of experience in healthcare renovation and replacement projects, our healthcare studio is well-versed on the different funding avenues for healthcare projects. We are constantly searching for new funding options for our clients, including targeted grants for specialized health centers.
Finding funding requires creativity and looking beyond the most well-known federal funding avenues. Grants can be especially useful in funding smaller, more specialized parts of a larger project. For example, there may be a specific grant that funds telehealth infrastructure. We’ve also had success helping clients find grants to offset operational costs, therefore freeing up institutional funds for the renovation or replacement.
When New Mexico passed a bill to provide funding for rural hospitals, we contacted rural health centers across the state to inform them about this crucial funding source for healthcare projects.
Technical funding application and reporting assistance
Smaller and rural healthcare centers may not have the dedicated staff needed to devote resources to funding applications. That’s where we can step in and help our clients identify the right funding source and navigate the application process.
A strong application includes specific information that demonstrates a need for funds. Through our decades of experience, we have developed formulas that can help our clients communicate these needs in their applications.

In some cases, we help organizations find and apply for funding with a specific project in mind. In other cases, clients apply for funding in the middle of a project, with the hopes of securing funding to widen the scope of a renovation or replacement.
Most grants require an aspect on ongoing reporting to communicate how grant money was used and its impact on the organization. When we work with federally qualified health centers that get money through federal funding, we help them set up reporting milestones and provide the information needed for reporting.
Our healthcare studio helps clients with finding and applying for funding because we are committed to the continued investment in healthcare spaces that expand quality healthcare to everyone.
